Structure101g
Structure101g is our generic version of Structure101.
Build your own flavor for "anything" - any programming language or any hierarchical data. But don't panic, it's not a major undertaking. Typically you should expect anything from a couple of hours to a couple of days to get something up and running. The hard part is typically getting access to the data, not sucking it in to Structure101g - all Structure101g expects is a simple XML file.
Flavors can be downloaded and installed over the web, much like Eclipse plugins.
Currently there is a selection of free flavors available: OSGi/Eclipse, Ant, Maven, XSL, and a web crawler. These are primarily available for demonstration purposes, although if you are stuggling to deal with dependencies in any one of these domains give Structure101g a try. Full source for these flavors is available under the BSD Open Source license - so customize away, if you wish.
The first independently-developed, commerical flavor, ActionScript, is now available thanks to the fine folks at Catalysts. Just download and install Structure101g, go to the Flavors/Install menu and install the ActionScript flavor direct from our flavors repository. Do bear in mind, its still an early access release, loading up an ActionScript project is a little klunky but its worth it! Take a look at Structure101g's view of Spring-Actionscript and let us know what you think. How does your ActionScript code look in Structure101g?
If you are interested in cutting your own flavor, great! We would love to see a wide range of domains benefiting from the power of the Structure101 visualization engine, and we are very flexible in licensing, with support for everything from freebies to commercial implementations (e.g. with revenue-sharing). Proprietary implementations (e.g. private to a single enterprise) are also supported.
Pricing
The Structure101g client application itself is free, with flavors priced on a case-by-case basis - again think Eclipse and Eclipse plugins - some free, some commercial. The sample Headway-developed flavors remain free, while the pricing of the first independently developed flavour, ActionScript has yet to be confirmed - but expect sub-$100.
If you wish to develop a flavor that is not for public consumption please contact us for pricing.
Demos and Docs
The Structure101g Overview demo (16 mins) introduces the area of graph visualization with reference to the well-known Graphviz utility. It shows how Structure101g provides a rich and interactive environment for exploring dependency models, while scaling to massive systems through the application of hierarchy.
The installers and Developer Guide are available from the Structure101g downloads page. You can also browse the Developer Guide online.
